Oil skimmer

The oil skimmer can effectively separate a variety of finished greases, diesel, animal and vegetable oils, mineral oils, crude oil, fuel oil, coolants, detergents and various oily scums in water to purify the water quality.

Product features

The product is small in size and light in weight, with high oil removal efficiency, reliable operation and long service life. It can be widely used in water treatment systems in industries such as metallurgy, machinery, chemical industry, light industry and railway transportation, such as various advection sedimentation tanks, drainage ditches, iron filings pits or oil collection tanks for oil removal (skimming).

Working principle

Steel belt oil skimmer is also called oil scraper, oil remover, oil-water separator, floating oil skimmer, etc.

It uses the density difference between oil and water to absorb the grease on the water surface through a special oleophilic and hydrophobic oil-absorbing steel belt. When the steel belt passes through the oil scraper, the grease is scraped and collected, thereby removing the oil on the liquid surface, reducing water pollution and achieving the purpose of recycling.

Operating environment requirements

①.Liquid temperature is between 10 and 70°C.
②.The pH value of the liquid is between 3 and 11.
③.The specific gravity of the mixed liquid is above 1.0.
④.The viscosity of the mixed liquid is below 1.0.
⑤.Media with surface tension above 70DGN/CM.

Small oil skimmer

Due to their small size and easy installation, small steel belt oil skimmers are often used with various CNC
machine tools, machining centers, small cooling pools, cleaning machines, printing and dyeing, waste water
tanks, food machinery, ultrasonic cleaning equipment, etc. The main function is to remove floating oil from
cutting fluids, emulsions, coolants and other processing fluids, extend the service life of the processing fluid,
improve processing accuracy, save costs and reduce energy consumption.

Medium oil skimmer

Medium-sized steel belt oil skimmers are
often used in cooling pools, degreasing pools,

cleaning machines, printing anddyeing,

wastewater tanks, cleaning tanks,food

machinery, ultrasonic cleaning equipment,

auto repair shops, gas stations or machine

tool water tanks with high oilcontent.

Large oil skimmer

Large steel belt oil skimmers are selected according to the on-site working conditions, such as single steel
belt FA-75L or FA-150L and multi-steel belt parallel skimmers FA-350L, FA-500L and FA-750L. They have fast
oil removal speed and high efficiency, so they are often selected as pre-treatment equipment in various water
treatment facilities and wastewater deep treatment projects; they are also commonly used as degreaser pools,
machine tool cutting fluid pools, steel rolling emulsion pools, cleaning equipment degreasing tanks, flotation
separation pools, oil-containing wastewater oil separation tanks, pretreatment regulating tanks, various coolant
circulation tanks, auto repair shops, gas stations, etc. to remove and collect floating oil, so as to achieve the
purpose of wastewater recycling.
